Business Development Manager (seller at a high level)

Your tasks

  • First of all, during an induction period , you will be coached very purposefully and intensely. This gives you insight into the broad services and target markets of i.deeds.
  • Fairly quickly, you get the responsibility to commercially monitor and guide prospects at management level to the moment of concrete proposals developed by specialist project managers.
  • You will actively prospect with the support of an external telemarketing agency that makes arrangements for you.
  • i.deeds frequently organizes successful professional events to deliver targeted leads.
  • You initiate and follow the commercial process, up to and including the completion and conclusion of a cooperation contract with the customer.
  • You communicate at high level with the CEO, CFO and COO. Conducting calls to understand the real needs of prospects are the first essential steps you take. From there, a relationship grows and you evaluate at what time you turn on the specific expertise of the i.deeds business analysts.
  • In addition, you are also responsible for following up the long-term relationship, focusing on continuously exploring and even initiating future opportunities in the interests of the customer.
  • Our target market consists of larger SMEs. The focus is on East and West Flanders, but also in the region of Antwerp-Brussels there are opportunities.
  • You work very closely with and report directly to the Managing Director.


Your profile

  • You have a pronounced commercial profile and know what sales are in the b2b world.
  • You have obtained higher education, type of TEW, MBA or another business management-oriented field of study and have approximately 10 years of business experience
  • Without being an IT specialist yourself, you have a strong interest in and feel with the fast developing IT trends and techniques that find their applications in the operational management of business processes.
  • You have a very analytical mind that allows you to quickly understand what information is essential to the customer to optimize his business.
  • You can strategically think along with the customer and are always looking for the added value for his business.
  • Purposefully working towards sharp objectives with perseverance and the necessary flexibility, is part of your DNA.
  • In addition to the professional use of the English language, knowledge of French is an advantage.
  • Preferably, you live at a feasible distance from the offices in Waregem.
