i.deeds Family Beach Day 2022

Looking back on a splashing family day! This year we faced the wind with colleagues, partners and children at Sport Vlaanderen's brand new water sports complex at the Spaarbekken, Nieuwpoort.

To start with enough energy, we were welcomed with a delicious breakfast.

For water lovers, there was windsurfing, wingfoil, kayaking and sailing the funboats on the program. A sincere thank you to the moni's for the professional guidance and of course also to Dirk Bossaert - region responsible Sport Vlaanderen and Thomas Beullens Sports technical coordinator for putting this day on the right track.

Those who preferred to stay on dry land could indulge their creative spirit in the graffiti workshop for which thanks to Gunther Baeyens alias Cazn. After all these efforts, the pasta buffet was enjoyed.

Our next stop was the sea; For those who are not a fan of big waves could join the harbor tour with Seastar, followed by a guided walk to the fish market. Since the fishing boat did not want to go out with the strong wind and high waves, this team went on electric steps to explore an off-road track in Nieuwpoort.

For sports enthusiasts, the 2 beautiful sailing yachts of High Five Sailing  were ready for departure. Led by Koen Simkens, they experienced an adventurous trip at sea. With 5 beaufort and peaks up to 7 beaufort, we were happy to see them all back on shore.

We finished this active day with a glass of champagne and a delicious dinner in the atmospheric setting of 't Galjoen (Congratulations to Arne and his team).

We couldn't imagine a better ending with a view of the marina!
