CEO Lionel Vanpoucke built i.deeds in almost 10 years into a respected consultancy company with an extensive and loyal customer base in Belgium. Today, the organization counts 25 consultants working for companies such as Picanol, Denys and Ranson. With their expertise and broad experience, i.deeds can compete with the bigger players in the sector.

This transaction is an important building block in the growth story of i.deeds. With the acquisition, CEO Lionel Vanpoucke (73) wants to make room for a new generation that can steer the company in its further growth. ''After so many years, it is good for i.deeds and its employees to have a generation  with a fresh perspective. This will allow i.deeds to accelerate in its growth plans," said Lionel Vanpoucke.

Finsiders was founded in early 2021 by the long-term investment fund Robur Capital, also anchored in West Flanders. Under the leadership of CEO Bram Vergote, the organization grew into an established name in the world of financial project consulting in just two years. The acquisition of i.deeds is in line with their mission to offer clients and employees even more opportunities for development. From the holding company LifeWorx Group, Finsiders and i.deeds will together support organizations in their operational and digital development.

In the choice of acquirer, besides operational added value, the values and corporate culture were also considered.  "From day one there was a good understanding with Robur Capital and Finsiders. The personal approach in which we take care of our clients is in line with the values and standards of both parties," Lionel Vanpoucke explained. "Absolutely. Both of our companies are very down-to-earth. The no-nonsense culture and entrepreneurial mentality makes us stand with both feet in the field," adds CEO Bram Vergote.

So for now, no major turnaround at i.deeds, but an integration into a company in full growth. The forces are being combined to offer even better and broader customer service. The i.deeds name will also remain.

Finsiders and i.deeds will continue their development under the wings of CEO Bram Vergote. The company is expected to grow to 35 people by 2023.
